Legend of El Dorado

Hidden from the outside world, legends tell of a magnificent city led by a tribal chief named Zipa who covered himself in gold dust to honor the goddess of Lake Guatavita. His followers would toss intricately carved golden idols, emeralds, and other precious stones into the lake as a tribute to her.

For over two centuries, these tales of immense wealth and riches enticed European explorers to hunt for the lost city, in hopes of being first to claim the vast fortune. None did, and the city remained hidden for hundreds of years.

However, Intrepid Traveler Coffee discovered the secret city's location, and what we brought back was more precious than any treasure: a single-origin coffee that is both delicate and delicious.
